The Nautical Inn is nestled directly on the Caribbean Sea on the Placencia Peninsula.  We are the perfect destination for launching your Belize vacation.

The Nautical Inn is under new management as of April 1, 2013. The Nautical Inn will now be operating under the umbrella of The Surfside Escape Resort located a short distance North of the Nautical Inn,(www.surfsideescape.com and VRBO Listing #418352) for references for The Surfside Escape Resort.

There is planned a "rejuvenation" of the property which has already begun. This includes operating a full service, public restaurant under the name The Get-Away-Grille which features a full menu of morning, mid-day and evening menu selections. the strong reputation of quality, presentation and selection from the food/beverage service has been carried over from The Surfside Escape Resort to The Nautical Inn.

The Inn features twelve hotel rooms.  All of our rooms will be continually updated for your comfort and pleasure. It is the perfect place to stay for those traveling with friends and family who want the amenities of a resort but the charm and exclusive atmosphere of a Inn. 

All accommodations face our large pool and have breathtaking views of the sea. Most of the rooms have air conditioning, cable television, and other conveniences to ensure a comfortable stay.  We are the perfect launching spot for divers, fishermen, birders or just those who want an exotic relaxing vacation. 

The Nautical Inn can arrange activities and adventure tours, including your diving or snorkeling trip.  We have excellent tour guides on the Peninsula that will pick you up here or we can take you where you need to be to meet your tour.  For birders, the country is beautiful and offers a variety of bird watching habitats. The birding options are endless. We are perhaps best known in this area of Belize for the excellent diving, we will recommend only the best dive shops on the Peninsula that will make your diving experience one you will be talking about for months.  Sports fishermen can enjoy guided day trips on a chartered boat with a guide that knows all the right spots .

If you want to just take it easy for a day, forget the tour and enjoy our relaxing lounging areas and beach or spend the day relaxing poolside.  Whatever you envision as your perfect Caribbean vacation, our friendly staff welcomes you to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing holiday in Belize at the Nautical Inn.

We are conveniently located approximately 3 miles from the Placencia Airstrip where we offer free pick up and drop off service for our guests.

 

We are approximately 6 miles form the Placencia Village. There you will find a variety of shops featuring art, souvenirs and clothing made by local Belizean artists.  You will also find a wide array of markets and restaurants, over and above our own in-house food and beverage services.
